Hi all. I am asking this because I don't know if what is happening means there is something wrong with the computer or what but I am finding a lot of hidden files on my computer. Ever since my computer came back from the shop, I have found and deleted many files such as desktop.imi and thumbs.db or something like that. I used to not have this problem. After downloading books/music, I always move them to my external hard drive and that would be that. Now, I am getting messages like are you sure you'd like to move the hidden files along with blah blah blah? And I never know what to do. If someonw would be kind to explain what these hidden files are I would really appreciate it. Also, I have gotten quite frustrated because no matter how many I delete, it pops back up again the next time I open that same folder. Thanks very much.

you usually don't want to delete hiden files, they are usually important. if your anti-spyware and anti-virus don't protest against them, i'd let ehem be
You can have it not show hidden files underr tools and folder options. just go under the view tab with control tab.
